Car is a fucking turd and I want to insurance job it. Pass one and pass two, blew the tires off. x275 is a bunch of liars. How they get a car to launch on a 275 is beyond me (It could also be the track prep). Pass three, the throttle was sucking in so much fucking air I pulled the snorkel into my intake, the throttle said I'm out and closed and the car shut down mid pass. Coasted to a 9.99... Fuck me. Fourth run car was okay still spun and fifth run still spun. 275/60r15 ain't big enough imo.
Things I noticed in the logs. My desired airflow is exceeding the ETC airflow tables, the system may be like bro, we can't get there, lemme shut off. I noticed that my fuel pressure is dropping, I have no idead why where it is good on some runs and then drops on others. Fore fuel pumps with dual modules from OST. Do I need to move to a different fuel rail? Do I need a third pump?
The tires situation pisses me off. Can't find a ET Street Radial Pro in 275/60r15 and then the 315/60r15 (if available) would take me out of 275 racing that requires a 28" tall tire. How do these cars launch on these things? At most I was leaving at 1500 rpm.... makes no sense.
Attached are the logs from the day, the trans is also doing it's 1-3 bullshit on certain passes too... I think I'm done racing and with this car till September. I'd rather drive my Ram 1500 everywhere, at least I get enjoyment out of that car. The car is also on consignment too. Local dealer is marketing it as racecar for 70k and has quite a few people interested. I would take 65k of that after their cut.
