Sorry to hear of your troubles @fumanchu182 . Not trying to tell you what to do but maybe you just need to step back and give it a little break. I’ve been in your shoes before and I remember being pissed off, hating the car, my shitty luck, etc. Seems nothing would go right. If you give it a break and you still want to get rid of it then I guess that’s that. Good luck whatever you decide to do👍

This was the last nail in the coffin and fuck mymoparparts.com and the dealership that houses them…

6/6/2022 Lead tech Mike calls around and finds three of the AD revision, however since the dealerships are not associated…

Spoke with Joe from Kincaid, great guy. Wants me to make sure there are no leaks. Do a check at ambient and do a check with the car hot. The coolant in the bmr tank is being removed, going with a 30/70 mix. See if I can get it colder. 15” brake conversion as well Thursday night, should I not like how the car performs after that I’ll be posting it up as for sale on FB marketplace. I no longer have the stomach for this.
Hopefully it will work out, Like Smitty said, take a break, sometimes we all need a break & don't try too much at a time & have a constant on going battle with the car.

Don't forget the more we mod the more issues there are. Then we hate what we're doing. Find a good spot for HP, ET & reliability that you're happy with & leave it alone & enjoy it.

You'll have to accept if you want to try to set the world on fire you're going to be working on the car....ALL THE TIME. Just comes with the territory. This is why I set the 10.00 as my target and the random good air TNT as a gravy 9.x or whatever. It's been pretty easy and relatively cheap if not for that motor incident I had.

Remember KISS. Back off a tick on the car and let it be enjoyable would be my advice.

The road to going fast has bumps, you work through them. It will be worth it at the end

how? Cabin ac blows ice cold when KC drag valve is not operating
Sometimes an AC system will blow its coldest air when it’s on the virgin just not having enough gas But the heat exchanger in the KillerChiller system is different. The liquid turns to vapor right at the TXV valve so it’s already losing some of it’s cooling ability before it even gets to the heat exchanger it had to still be semi liquid by the time it gets there and if there isn’t enough liquid because some of it is trapped on the cabin AC side it’s not going to cool the intercooler side Nowhere near enough to be effective. I bet it’s just low on charge.

It sure sounds like the issue is at the TXV, could it possibly not be opening to allow the flow to the chiller?

Agreed. A car broker bought my car and he wanted it stock not modified.

Agreed. A car broker bought my car and he wanted it stock not modified.
It would cost me more to put it back to stock than to keep the way it is and sell it on FB marketplace. I'm not replacing this with anything else, once it's gone that's it I'm out. The car will be marketed as a low 9s street/track car once I get it fixed and can make one stupid pass to verify the number.

I also think that the faster we can go with the least amount of work done is the most fun & impressive to me nowadays, the cheapest & least amount of headaches. I use to not think like this at all, just the opposite, faster faster. I guess age does have some wisdom.

That's why mine stayed stock so long.
The only reason it's tuned is from the issued I had after the cat recall.
I don't have the patience to work on stuff all the time anymore.
That's why I'm not going any further & to stay on 93, I'm happy right where mine is, 2.85, 3.09, 315 & AI chiller. 9.7's in the cold & 10.0's in the heat.
Knock on wood, so far just change the oil & diff fluid once a year.
