Check the nuts! The alignment shop almost killed me on a hard launch. It wasn’t tight enough.

Step 1 of killer chiller (KC) install. Drain S/C coolant at lower temp. radiator (LTR).

Highly recommend these tools for hose work.

Optional Step: BMR coolant resvoir installation. Prep the reservoir. Install the ball valve, ptfe tape.

18EC6649-D4E3-4DA2-B9BF-F00088398210.jpeg
Since its npt I did one turn and then a half as it was getting tight. Installed the barb, ptfe again. One and a half turns, till tight. Gave the barb a spritz of weinerschliden-40, your moms favorite lubricant and the docking was complete, used the supplied clamp, hose will be routed to passenger fender.

Next remove cooland reservoir and base…

So we continue the optional step, BMR reservoir install. It wasnt easy, but if it was everyone would be doing it…

In the longer hose after all the fittings are removed, insert a union barb. In the shorter hose, insert a straight AN pushlock.
5AC8FC65-7D86-4201-9729-12D5F9B4BBB9.jpeg
So it took me a hot minute to unfuck my head with the piss poor instructions. We are intercepting the cool line and storing it in the tank. Add more coolant and you will have more cold coolant in the tank. Hopefully it will work. Worst case scenario I add ice. Oh note you are reversing the flow through the supercharger.
10E0FA99-23F3-4C3B-B7BF-B15CCBFBF03F.jpeg
Get your an wrench on the rear fitting and tighten it down. An fittings bottom out. Never apply anything to the face or threads.

So the next part is a little bit of controversy… it wont work in a 2015 Hellcat. The hose from the condenser to the tank is too short…
DD903169-7770-4E3E-9178-9480BB5FA412.jpeg
Well lucky me I have yet to add my tee fitting for the KC.
697AB73B-A8F9-4C02-B3D3-5AD6DB752A24.jpeg
im honestly not a fan of this, im ordering a 12an tee and three pushlock fittings and a set of 1” pex clamps
A3224FE5-C593-4C9D-A2E0-3E88A7996930.jpeg
and yes i did not cover it in any reflective tape, yet…

Where are the attachment points for the tank? The engineer in me worries about metal fatigue from vibration.

Mount points include the strut tower and underneath near the dipstick there is a mount point.

So we press on, toss the plastic shit in the trash. Go buy the following. One 12an tee, two straight 12 an pushlocks and one 45* pushlock. Re-use the 90* 12 an that comes with the BMR kit. Check it. Angle the 45* fitting like so.

C1886E4A-C037-4099-82D0-801B429FD6CB.jpeg
Run the hose to the BMR 90* fitting like so.
4747C78E-A963-4CBC-BFA5-17110DBDDE51.jpeg
Connect the tee, run hose to mock up connection to KC.
BEB79932-4BF6-427B-9C01-95E751EA13D9.jpeg
45D35AB3-551D-436C-B374-D46AF55B8CC6.jpeg Run some hose to the stock condenser location.
3FCA0281-853A-451F-8879-54D6E9406C6F.jpeg Tighten all connections except the hose for mockup. Go drink some American made Vodka and OJ.

Also picked up some insulation wrap.

Finalized the super charger side of the system. Started by adding some heat shield tape to the bare metal where the KC will sit.
1FD3619A-85A6-43BE-B4A2-FD6162ED8B34.jpeg
Then I oriented the fittings for the HE bypass.
FD6EE37A-5657-4A8B-9E93-B82EEC70E116.jpeg
Then I fabbed up a line for when the bypass is active to go to the killer chiller. While working on that I wrapped it in reflective tape.

She is semi at home.
A57F0DD4-9153-48F8-B221-785C5FFB200F.jpeg
Then I ran the line from the out to the AN fitting for the final time. Added some foam insulation and reflective tape on the resting points.
D80AAC7F-A3F4-41D3-8A71-9B216525A4DD.jpeg
I purchased one of these… best thing ever!

Also plenty of room still for the AC lines.

Do you have a diagram of your coolant flow path through the bmr tank, supercharger, pump, chiller, etc? The T’s you have setup actually has me confused so was curious what your plan and thoughts were on how you’re setting it up.

I made these and posted them in another thread.

At the time I didnt have the BMR tank but the Tee and flow direction remain the same.

Ah 3 way bypass valve to switch flow paths, makes more sense now. Hope it all works out for you.

Good job. Was there a need for a dielectric unions?? Different metals. Looks good.

Potentially, I think the valve is made of aluminum with AN fittings where the Tee and AN fittings for the AC lines are steel.

Yes could be a concern. Have copper for refrigerant, steel for gas, and brass for bypass. PVC never hurt any one. If you see the green on the threads, then you know what to do. I was going to buy you a plotter for Easter but seems you took care of that.

Its done. Ran the IC pump a few times with the tazer got a few bubles out on both the KC lines and the stock condenser. Im sure as a few heat cycles get through the system it will get more out. Im happy to be done with this and get to move on to going back to the track… Oh wait… I have a new supercharger to put on now… Ill let yall simmer on that one… 😉🤫

Using up that foil tape?? Fiberglass underneath??. Armaflex may work better but hard to deal with if not used to the glue. Glue is 25/50 ratings.
