Threw these on this weekend to see what they looked like. The tracks here are still closed. Driving with the skinnies on long trips is not advisable. To the track and back. :)

Thank you, wish I had white lettering on the rear to complete the look. Don't know if ET Street R's include lettering, will have to investigate next time I buy them.

Thank you sir
Appreciated
I see a 1 & a 2 piece unit
I ll have a look
Not to many tire options with a factory 20" wheel for the CAT

I sure wish the car was designed & built for about 2-3 more inches of tire back there

There's plenty of vendors selling tire lettering paint/markers. I have seen some in white and red, couldn't tell that it wasn't OEM. Some of them get good reviews online.

I have 17x11 Weld S71's w the 315/50-17 MT ET Street R. They work well and I really like the look. I'll likely get a set of front skinnies to match over the winter.

Did you have any issues with the rear tire balancing, I’m reading that many have with this tire. What is the rear rim size and back spacing? I have the exact car and this is the look I’m going for!!!👍👍👍

The MT ET Street R, like most MT products, just is hit or miss as to the roundness of the tire. I've had hands on experience w hundreds of MT tires over the years and that's just the reality of the MT drag racing tire line.
That being said, many of their tire offerings fit into a specific niche and are still the best option for certain specific uses. The tires you are asking about fall into that category IMO. I've had about 50/50 luck with them. I use Discount Tire because they'll replace the occasional square one and do the leg work themselves along w not charging for multiple mounts/balances. I've had 2 so far that were significantly out of round and called for excessive weight to 'balance'. They took care of both no questions asked.
The backspace on the 17x11 is a measured 6"(I think Weld calls it 5.8). Also, if you're planning to powder coat them and want them to look like mine use Tiger Drylac matte black. I only bring this up because there are significant differences in the coloring of matte black from brand to brand.

Thanks for the info. Have you heard of the hooser or the nittos being out of round?

OEM Demon 18x11” wheels with Hoosier 325/45-18 DR2. Unfortunately, the first time I got to use these was when I had to put them on along the side of the expressway because I had a flat on one of my Nitto NT555R on the standard 20 Devils cut wheels. 43F35FBD-BC44-4575-A3FE-F2E4EB4EC0DC.jpeg

Guy with this channel highlighted my car this late summer at the track, good view of wheels and tires. Disregard me taking a nap at the light at the end. :giggle:
