Yes it's a recall part number. My seasoned parts guy recommended the standard part number since that's a guarantee oem new part so that's what I went with.
The recalls are genuine Dodge stuff as well.

Yep parts guy said they would be "similar" and an OEM part but he said to use the official ones for whatever reason. He's been in the biz a looong time so I just went with his suggestion. I don't wanna fool with these again. I was on pins and needles having these sensors swapped out praying the tire shop didn't damage something.

BTW, the part number on the recall replacement part is 68487472AB as shown in the photo, which is the standard 2022 sensor. I guess they probably just verified they had a good batch of batteries in these and then packaged them up for the recall. So it is the exact same one just 5X cheaper!

My .02 here, batteries after events of being drained down that far do not usually last long after this, I bet it fails soon or gives you gremlin like strange issues. Maybe get it replaced under warranty some day while it still has 100% replacement coverage.

All of the various papers I've read on this subject talk about duration/length of time the battery sits at these very low voltages, and that if they are charged right away that they will be "ok".

What they seem to always leave out is what counts as "right away".

But I do agree, batteries are the first layer of defense in getting your vehicle running, I'm pretty quick to replace them at the first real sign of trouble.

You need to put the TPM sensors in faraday pouches

I’ll be reaching out to interested parties in the order they posted up or PM’d for a set of these. Some will be shipping tomorrow. They make good refrigerator magnets as well if your still wishing on a cat 🧲

Ive done extensive research on this and submitted a paper to Stellantis about me driving down the highway tripping everyones tire sensor monitor by replaying data packets with my Hacker One RF module. Nothing came of it.

Been asked for M6 Trans plugs too. These are super duper strong, like 50 lb pull on the bigger drain plug. The smaller plug goes in the fill port and is right in the oil stream slung off the gears and catches everything even before it gets into the sump to recirculate. PM me and I’ll start a list.

IMG_2284.jpeg IMG_2320.jpeg

This is what’s circulating around and around in there through your gears and bearings without them. Microscopic metals that are too small for filters to catch but act like liquid sand paper to gears, bearings, seals, etc.

So we got oil pan, transmission pan, M6 trans, rear diff options now?

What's a full set for an A8 gonna run a peasant taxi driver such as myself?

Unfortunately The A8 plug is so small it’s not worth putting a magnet into. But they’ve all been available before, just haven’t had time to make them recently. Don’t know when I’ll get to again either so if you want them get them before their gone again for ya never know if for good or not.
But If you really want an A8 plug I can get you one just let me know.

Goodies showed up. Decanter set is pretty cool actually. Leno stuff looks very similar to Adam's bottles but does have the 170 cartoon on the label.

It's a little short notice, but shoot me a PM of where you'll be and I'll try to make something happen. Not all of us are #retiredlife like you lol!

Since you don’t use those products anyway I’d just put them away. Seems like the decanter set was a nice touch.

Here's the second oil analysis on the Redeye engine at 1,600 miles: Copper slightly lower by 8 PPM. Oil tested was Mobil1 0W40 with around 1,000 miles on it. I have another oil change coming up soon. Car has 2100 on it now Pennzoil 0W40. I may do the TBN on that to see what the additive package shows for effectiveness. (Update: I changed the 500-mile oil yesterday and I am sending the sample out today. Nothing much more than a slight residue found on either of the magnetic drain plugs (pan & cooler). Cutting open the filter later today for a look-see.)
Got the 3rd oil analysis results back at 2100 miles. Looks good from the comments. Copper down once again. Pennzoil 0W-40. I paid extra for the TBN which shows there's a ton of additive life left in the oil that we all prematurely drain out due to time instead of miles. Also those #041 SRT oil filters seem to filter very nicely. He mentioned there was only a trace amount of insolubles this time. (First oil filter was the factory 899, the second was a Wix, and the third was the SRT 041 filter in this test.
