it's still over $2 per gallon in my area too.
I am however glad that I just swapped out the gas tank in my truck to the 36 gal one so that I don't have to get gas as often as I used to.

But that is 92 oct premium. Regular stuff is $2 and under if you look around. I saw $1.99 late last week.

I have one of those stainless steel insulated travel cups that has a nice fitting lid with a silicone sealing ring....got it on Amazon for $20 or less. Keeps my drink cold for a very, very long time and will keep the ice for hours after the drink is gone.

Okay, so I manage to make it stay in the container, and the container in the cup holder, but how the heck do I get a drink out of it without careening off the pavement??

It takes all my concentration to stay between the lines as it is, and you want me to try drinking, too?

yeah....93 is still over 2.30/gal. I saw reg down to 2.03/gal today. I haven't seen any in my area under 2/gal......I'd love to see it drop back down into the 1's....hopefully not far off....although...my Governor is talking about instituting "shelter in place" for a few weeks, and I guessing that will happen soon....so gas will be cheap but I won't be able to go anywhere.

Oh, I can manage that in my Jeep just fine...but that's at 1-3 mph, not 80-120 or so.
And maybe more importantly, not on public roads.

On the other hand, I roll over in the Jeep far more often. Actually, haven't even laid the Challenger on its side yet, let alone rolled it.

Back from the Rockies. Noticed people staying out of restaurants, etc... cheapest unleaded I found and I did not look was 1.91. Confirmed virus cases all around us here (in nearby cities). Only a matter of time. I have some comorbidities and some age. Not looking forward to it. If I could afford it, would close everything down here and retreat to the place in the mountains for 4 weeks or so.

So, I noticed yesterday afternoon that the price for 87 is 1.59 gal in north indiana...prices vary by .50 gallon depending on what part of town you are in...left me wondering how much "price fixing" is going on.

I live in the "Tax you to death State" (CT) and 93 octane is 2.89/gl and 87 octane is 2.31/gl. Maybe further up the coast it might be a bit cheaper.

I gotta be honest I don't really pay attention to gas prices. I've been fueling up at the same BP in St Pete for 20 years now. 93 octane. I know the owners and such. Creature of habit stuff.

Diesel for the big truck is determined by our company as I just swipe the fuel card and pump.

I remember leaded Sunoco 260 (Approx 102 octane) in the 60s. I was paying 30-40 cents a gal. Those were the days....

.43 9...in WNY back in the summer of 70....Sunoco 260...worked summers at the local station...we thought that was high...but the cars ran good on it

Now kids stare at there hands alone at home instead of getting into fist fights, drive in food, hair pulling, making out, and doing donuts in front of the police station. What is the world coming to, I say! Where will they get their stories?! "Once, I stayed up on Facebook..... ALL NIGHT!"
