This setup should be no better or worse temperature wise. It just removes the chiller from the loop when running the factory HX so it's an either or operation.

I've seen mid 30's. I believe that's a function of an improper refrigerant charge though more than the flow loop itself. I know it isn't right since it self-drained at the track last year.

I can easily get it down in the low 20s driving around fully up to temp with the drag valve on. I ended up remove my aux tank - I had a leak (custom tank)

Did you make the tank, or buy it? Just curious

Bought it but someone had it custom made, used tank is all. Could easily get it repaired, don’t think it’s actually needed - IC coolant temps are 50 degrees max at end of pull

I read you guys post every night....I'm wanting to buy the chiller and get the aux. tank with the crash bumper. And I dont want to feel dumb but I'm 68 and this new stuff get the confused. I guess what I'm trying to say do I need to get the 3 way valve? And if I dont get the 3way valve I wont need to put a switch in the car....or am I reading to much into this. I plan on keeping the stock heat exchanger.

The drag valve and the 3 way valve are to different things correct? or is the switch inside the car for the darg valve?

Yes 2 different things. Drag valve shuts off cabin ac. 3 way valve bypasses the heat exc. I use the 3 way vale in my system. When its hot in summer time it was taking a while to cool the cabin. I have 2 drag valves on mine, one works with the 3 way valve. If I use the heat exc it will shut off the chiller system. Once my cabin is cold I turn on the chiller and everything works great. Also in the winter time I rarely use the chiller. I over complicated my system but I like my ac ice cold.

IC Chiller is amazing with customer service. You cant go wrong with the kit. The pre made harness was nice. Yes the drag valve is chiller only.

If you go IC Chiller you are helping the little guy Sumit Goyal and Charlie. The other company is arrogant and takes days to get back to you at times.

I like the idea for not having to cut my ac lines. and now the have the crash bumper with the aux. tank. Thats what I'm going with.

With IC Chiller, you don’t have to cut suction line. With Forced Induction interchiller (even the p&p kit) you do. I have my stock AC lines and can put the car 100% back to stock if I wanted/needed to

thats what I like not having to cut anything....the only thing I dont like is having to put a switch in my car I like to keep mine unchanged. But I'm still going with the ic chiller.I'll just hide the switch the best I can.
