Wow these been going on for 20 years. Hot rod started it and have been others ones that have started up. Local friend won one of the 1st ones in small block n/a class

I know, I know...was completely consumed in the world of NHRA competition and not much else crossed my radar for a long time. Expanding my horizons as I get older

No idea. It is tubbed and has a cage.

The carnage is getting very high, in the really fast classes especially. Just finishing is a win in itself.

Derek from Vice Grip Garage is racing Friebergers old RoadKill Challenger. He's removed all of the Roadkill decals and it ran a low 12. I thought the car looked familiar.

Thanks Jonx96 for update. The cage worked, the cabin intack the Volvo looks better than the Vette. I'm glad they both will race again.

That's very close to the one I purchased in Oct 78 it was a 1979 model while stationed in commiefornia. Sold it when I retired from the Army in 94.

I won a few bucks racing those cars in my 74 AMX. That was the 1st car I raced at Union Grove in MA's 2010 R/T gapped him by 2 cars. too bad they were made during the smog era.

Day 4 of 5. High temperature today in the low 80s. DA is going to be a problem.
Didn't get the standings text last night so I don't know where most stand and who's out. Field is definitely thinning out.

I'm watching Youtube. 727SRT is driving the Black Charger. is he on the forum? Amazing how fast some of those rice burners are a 9.5sec Honda. I never would have thought that from a 4 banger when I was a Nissan mechanic in the mid 80s.
