Said I'd like to own both. Had a 71 Demon, sold it a couple years ago. Orange and black with go wing and hood scoops. 340 6bbl with 4 speed. Cool looking car, never could get the 6bbl to run right though

That color was darker than mine...the 71 grill was different..and yes the 72 was detuned...the 71 would walk away from a 72...the rally wheel were different...and side markers were flush on the 71..
