Dealerships are a racket. If it's a large market, or they own many sites in a large market, they feel insulated and there is no incentive to have customer service or loyalty. The market makes up for it. Just like at HP and Compaq after the merger, F the customer, there's plenty more where they came from.

Even if I could do it in my law practice or the other businesses I own, I would not. Just couldn't live with myself (but them I'm probably a stupid dinosaur - i also do not use tax shelters, etc..., I pay my fair share). I can't do it in my small market anyway. That kind of thing gets you a bad rep, and it may take a few years, but eventually you'll pay for it.
