If you have the money the navigator or expedition is the way to go, I would call the navigator the best luxury full size suv since it's refresh, and the expedition is top 3 in the full size segment.

I'll put it to you this way, I'm 6'2 and my brother is 6'1 and we can fit in the 3rd row of the navigator, ended up turning in the lease and not getting another one only because mom got tired of driving in circles for parking at the hospital (her workplace)

That platform is the best for what's out there imo.

My wife loves Durangos and the SRT will be icing on the cake for her. Our kids are all still small and they are rarely all in the same vehicle at the same time. Oh and we're strictly a dodge family

Depends on your usage, income, tastes, etc etc.

My parents started with Japanese cars then moved towards german cars for a while, in the past 10 years when I started negotiating deals for them we started moving around manufacturers.

If you want a pickup truck/full size suv you aren't beating american manufacturers.

If you want luxury you aren't beating germany.

If you want to be the fastest around you would be hard pressed to beat italy.

Assuming all vehicles are stock, I'm a car guy not a brand guy, I think all of the manufacturers bring something unique to the table but they all have areas of weakness as well, the durango is a fine vehicle but it is rather small compared to what's out there and the interior is rather bland, on the same note it has much better space than the Jeep GC, and can seat an extra 2 people.

It really depends on your preferences, I would rather have the better vehicle in the segment than picking a vehicle just because of the brand, not that that's the case for you but just as a general statement.

Shame how ford didn't offer it to entice buyers towards Lincoln.

And for comparison, the Durango has 85 cubic feet behind the front seats.

Expedition EL (yes, i know it's not the newest gen) 130+ cubic feet behind first row (I've carried stacks of 4x8 drywall and stuff like that back there)
