Funny things - sales man in back of car, wife and I in front - guy in Charger pulls up at light and saying what an awesome car, etc...; after purchase, guys in a Mustang GT and my wife revs at them (will never let her live that down); and everybody and his or her dog scoping the car everywhere we go. Basically, back to the land of Hellcats... and glad to be back too.
Kinda like gettin outta jail after a two year bid...where's the yellow ribbon:unsure::unsure::giggle:;)

Major congrats!!! She's gonna need some bigger rear wheels and tires ASAP! Bummer about that front license plate, what are you gonna do though...
Exactly (none of my sports cars ever had front plates and the police officers let me slide). This one though, already on there. But, nothing I can do about it, and at least its a good plate holder. The I put 20x11s forged in the rear of the Charger HC without any flares at all and ran 305s with no problems. And, like a moron, I sold them on the car (still have the original 9.5" in garage(they were bare at the time and we'd have to have bought a new set of tires for them, yada yada). Kicking myself now (at the time I thought when would I ever get a HC again... well, here we are).

EDIT - just got in touch with a manufacturer. Thinking about having a set of 11s like I had before made (would be four, so anyone with 9.5" interested in a set of 11" rears?). They're seeing what it will be to do a one off set like that (probably way too much). These are all forged, top end wheels.

Where's the burnout video?
Should be linked in the other thread. Be right back.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="
" title="Charger Hellcat Burnout" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

If you mean for the Redeye, not going to do one just yet. Still thinking about keeping it pristine and reselling. Have to work out that and the wheel and tire issue. But I'd love to see y'alls burnouts to tide me over.

Son of bitch; noticed a scratch in the drivers door hard plastic interior panel about 1.5 inches long. Not sure if it was there when we bought it but I don't like it at all (don't know how it would have happened. Anyone have any experience on how to remove these types of things?

One of my other vehicles has a tear in the perforated part of the leather seating (thanks to the kids and/or wife). Other than having a pro completely re-do it, does anyone know a way of making it at least visually less apparent?

not an endorsement, but an experienced detailer may do something like this with a heat gun at a minimum ...

It melts the ridges left from the scratch to reduce it's visibility.

I understand your frustration @Magnified. You have virtually a new car. You could get a new panel to replace it rather than trying to patch it up. It would be worth the expense…or maybe look for a good recycled one on the internet?

Ohhh Man..that could get tricky...too much heat and ya gotta mess...I would think the area where heat was applied would never quite look the same...

This is how I'm leaning... or just live with it. Life goes on.

If it were mine, I'd rub it by hand with polishing compound to remove the hairs and rough edges, clean it, then put protectant on it.

Reminds me of something 20 years ago when the net was young. There is a certain high quality cellular foam polymer called "PORON" I needed to find the mfr and did a search. Most of the hits were "We think you misspelled so here are the hits we think you want for "PORNO""!!!! :ROFLMAO:
