O also we need bigger injectors in that thing!
Yep, she’s done with both injectors and pumps now, need 4-5 k$ of fuel system upgrades if any more is wanted.
Maybe for next year :)

Yep, she’s done with both injectors and pumps now, need 4-5 k$ of fuel system upgrades if any more is wanted.
Maybe for next year :)
I would start with injectors and drop pressure. Ill ship you some 1650s if you want them. I just put them in @vortecd car.

Good idea!! I’ll Message you on them later, Off to the vets office with three dogs at the moment lol this visits cost would probably pay for those injectors lol

Can proudly display the 1000 HP badge now and those ugly hose ends gone replaced with AN fittings. Whipple should send the hoses with these types of ends to begin with.

I'm glad you found the limits of my fuel system for me. I have twin 285s and 1200cc injectors.

TBH I think if we ditched the blower there's a chance of cracking 1100... 😉

Correct. A friend who’s new 3.0 Whipple failed is selling it upon its return from Whipple from warranty replacement/repair and is going with a Hellion twin turbo setup pushed through a 2.4 blower stock lower 2.85 upper and tuner (Satera) says will make 13-1400 wheel no problem and be able to run on pump 93 to flex fuel to E85 to race gas with a touch of a button select on a DiabloSport Trinity 2 in car tuning interface. Cost he said was around $8000 not including the 2.4 blower. Sounds interesting.

It's all what you are into. Supercharger sitting on a engine is nitro funny car like for me. You can make big power with turbos but they just don't do it for me

After the last round of bidenflation increases the kit is now priced about $8395 with the base 62/62 turbos.

Unless maybe Jeremy is giving him credit for the Whipple at the shop. I'd wager that it would come pretty close to covering a new 2.4 and Shop labor for kit install.

I was actively considering either the Whipple or the Hellion. I may just rebuild the 2.4 one more time and let it ride. I'm on the very edge of needing both a rotating assembly and a transmission if I make any more power anyways.

At a minimum the car will be getting a chiller regardless this spring

Changing injectors, pulled the 1300’s out, ID1700’s should be here tomorrow if all goes as planned. 45 minutes and out, bagged, and boxed for new owner.

ID1700XDS arrived yesterday and installed last night. Found A guy who needed to remove them from his track hawk and go back to 1300s because he moved to an area E Was not available at so I got an almost brand new set of 1700s for just trading him my 1300s, he even paid UPS next Day air freight for me to send him mine and he sent me his the same way, talk about finding a lucky clover lol. @jonx96 Provided me a quick as usual tune revision but unfortunately I got lazy last night after supper as it started to rain so there was no testing the start up tune, hopefully tonight. Thanks as always Jon!! hope you feel better soon!!
