Dodge really screwed this whole thing up. Hence upcoming set ups where the entire operating system is encrypted.

Anyway, one thing you mentioned puzzles me. Why would anyone need a code to give full power in valet. That is the whole point, right? Or does this have to do w people "losing" the red key and needing a non 600 buck fix?

I had the local dealer go ahead and complete the update. Also found out that the 2 keys I don’t use on the regular needed batteries.

The spring on the mechanical key latch inside the key shot across the kitchen and was a pain to go find.
