I'm aiming for 6500 but I banged the rev limiter at 7200 a couple of times

Well it was a good and bad weekend. I didn't get my transmission issue resolved but I think I'm on ther right path . But I did have a few good results . The new 315/50/17 street R's worked fantastic . No starting line traction issues this time . Also 145 MPH on pump gas ! I'm very impressed with that considering all the transmission issues I was having . I did not get 1 clean pass .

As you can see from a few pics from my logs the car is consuming a lot of air . I'm running FIC1440 injectors and it peaked at 50% duty cycle on pump gas and 90 psi of fuel pressure .

Here is my theory in my transmission issue . The factory Pcm uses aircharge / airmass to calculate torque so with the large aircharge it's calculating more torque then the transmission is programmed to take so I'm hitting torque management on the transmission.
I guess I got a lot of research to do now on transmission tuning !

That should be solvable without too much trouble. I've seen 4.0L Whipple logs that look like yours.

I agree . One think is I believe I'm pushing through the torque converter ( I have the stock demon ) .

Well boys and girls that's it for another season . Although I didn't get much racing in this year I still put 9500kms ( 5900 miles) on the car and learned a lot about tuning . I'm glad I forged the bottom end and the camshaft was definitely a big plus for my car . I did go 145 mph on pump gas which is a big plus and I think I got my traction issue pretty much dialed in for decent tracks ( I'm sure crap prep will still suck) I'm already working on the tuning for the transmission and got a few upgrades on the way . Next season should be interesting I hope .

I'm still hoping I have another week maybe 2 to figure out my nonsense. If we figure it out then maybe a new pb before upgrades.😉

It will be done in the morning. The technological wizard doesn't have the patience tonight. This could take up some time.🤔🤣

What magic are you using to get these to fit?

no magic needed , just a good hammer an heat gun an some spray undercoat when done.

Like @oilburner said a decent hammer and a heat gun . The metal was the easy part I only "massaged" what I had too . The inner fender takes more time as it keeps popping back out .
I'm going to smooth out the metal and paint it so it looks factory over the winter . Then I'm going to give the stinking inner liners a good going ove too . I will take some pics when I do it .
