60's are good, how are you launching?
On my low 1.4 sixty foot I was foot braking it to 1500 rpms then aggressively rolling on the throttle. But as the track went away I had to leave at 1200 and roll onto the throttle.

NICE!!
I am looking forward to the weekend of the 17th. To see what you can do. Hopefully the plans at the track don't get messed up.

I like this one because it's taken from the end of the track . It gives you an idea how to fast the car is really moving .

Well folks I'm going to the track this weekend and it's suppose to be a "drag radial" weekend with drag radial surface prep . I will either get a killer 60 foot or break something lol .

Stick that in the tailpipe between runs and see if anybody else starts doing it. 🙃

Is it okay to cool the S/C like that, I have read that you could warp the aluminum by using bags of ice and other cooling methods.

It can tighten the clearances. I know from experience. Cost me a supercharger. Go easy on external cooling. Use a fan. E6A98BA0-1CDF-416F-81CE-7A677CE1D7B3.jpeg

I'm using low pressure and its only 32F when it comes out of the ends . I waive it around as to not focus it in 1 spot for too long

I'm going cautiously and reality the supercharger heats up by the time I run .

What you’re doing is really no different than a fan. Colder air but less volume. That fan I have moves about a million cubic ft of air. Hot air but a lot of it. We use to cool down the seating area under the canopy when not cooling the motor. What I won’t do is put ice bags on the SC. Expensive lesson for me on the dyno.

I've been using cold gel packs on mine at the track. They came in some food or something. Seem to work pretty good and don't over do it

That's a nice fan, for me, poor boy racing, I would like a battery operated stand alone fan where I wouldn't need a generator, not sure if there's one like that though, will have to check.

What I did do for a while is, rig wires & plug off the battery connection under the hood, & plugged in a 16" radiator fan to sit on top of the s/c & front of engine, but it runs down the battery too quick & with the oem fans running in cool down mode.
