Not sure why greenies would balk. If it's carbon neutral it would be supported is my guess. No reason for it not to. HUGE advantage here is you keep 10s of millions of existing cars viable for much longer. Less need to quickly build an endless parade of soulless golf carts.

The ones that might be pissed and whine are EV companies and OEM car makers that jumped the gun too hard/fast.
