Finally, got the driveshaft off the car, and sure enough, the rubber on around the center carrier bearing was shot. So now the question is, should I go with the more economical fix with the JXB replacement, or go to a one-piece DS from DSS. Considering the power I am making, I am more inclined to upgrade the DS, but I would love to hear everyone's opinions or past experiences with going this route.

Depends on if you go to the track. Street car only the stock one will be fine. I know my vibration isn't the ds

I know this might be a long shot, do you have a drive shaft hoop? is it contacting the well/hump for the drive shaft?

@jonx96 let me borrow is redeye axles (thanks Jon) and we changed those out today. Appears the vibration is gone. Guess I will be buying some new axles

I have gforce renegades axles. They were bought used with low miles back in 2021. I installed them along with the 3.09s and aluminum driveshaft. I had some bad wheel hop last year on a couple of passes and could have damaged them then before installing the aad arms and 315 tires. Seemed to be ok last year though. I put a new driveshaft in and had 3 people in the car when I really noticed it so thought it was the ds so pulled it back out and put the other back in.

My vibration started after installing the JXB center bearing. It pushed my driveshaft way to the drivers side at the bearing. I am waiting for a response from them. I am hoping they will make a different bracket that fits properly. Maybe it was only my car and a few others who have had the same problem.

My vibration at 80-85 started immediately after installing the JXB bearing (street version). The mounting bracket pushed my driveshaft way towards the driver's side. Its not even near being straight now. I have contacted them and am waiting for a response. I am going to start a thread on it.

Tares. Aint purdee but if da ware is wrong den high end aibrations. 1 tar wheel throw da whole car off. A ware in 2 da 1 tread will due dat. ax spansive 2 chase butt a need be. Damn itster.
