Short answer, if I were buying today I'd get these in this order as budget allowed:

https://amzn.to/2WEUTN7 - Ratchet
https://amzn.to/3gR3gvR - 3/8 impact (uses same battery as ratchet)
https://amzn.to/3BsFez7 - 1/2 impact (great at the track for swapping tires around and other stuff)
https://amzn.to/3t6mX7N - impact driver (great for interior panels and stuff like that)
https://amzn.to/38qx2D4 - blower which is great for drying the car after washing
https://amzn.to/3mOxHXx - saw because cutting things

I'll give you my two cents from the perspective of having used these tools for 12 or so years. Technology has come a very long way. You end up sort of married to the manufacturer once you dive in since the batteries and chargers are all proprietary, so I'd try to buy the one(s) that meet the most of your needs and fit your budget. Stretch the budget a bit if you have to, these things last a LONG time.

I went with Dewalt because 8-10 years ago they had the most tools that fit my needs. What I quickly saw is that each year they got better and better, so I learned to limit scope as it were and pick the ones most versatile.

You need a little variety as the more powerful ones can tear up things if used in smaller jobs, so I went with a couple low, med, high power impact and an impact driver which has been great for interior panels.

One of those is actually a hydraulic drive.

Interesting, I didn't know anyone was doing that in a tool this small.

I'd like to see that in use.
