MT ET-R 315/50/17 Alternatives?

Hoosier is best, if you don’t want to drive on the street. I had 325/45r18s and they weighed almost nothing, 14-16 lbs each. Dot tire, but only for competition. I would not have drove those on the street

I would say don't loose the sidewall.

I would say that I agree. It's probably the only thing saving the back half of the car at this point considering on a decent night at Empire Dragway I can dead hook most of my passes with an ET Street R

There's simply too much to digest in the other reply but not all of us are making 1,800 horsepower nor do we need a 15-in tire for the street or track. The street is a lost cause so I simply use the factory wheels and tires to enjoy the vehicle. What I want to do dumb shit or make a statement i'll bolt the other ones on.

Leaving in like...10hrs or so. Driving straight to national trail for day 0 tech and make 1 pass to see how she likes it. Gonna have to minimize abuse on this set of radials until we see if the MT trailer shows up. If it does on day 1 and has a 315/50/17 R on board...well...full send.
