It's hard to tell from this pic if you did it or not, but it's a good idea to cut openings in the blanket where the 2 breathers are on the supercharger.

YES, just use a sharp object to poke a hole and move the material back around the rounded boss. Easy peasy.

Ever remove a glued on blanket? Stuff seals like Flex Tape. Send a blower in for repair with a blower blanket stuck to it and they’ll send it back to you or charge you hundreds to remove it and it’s residue left after pealing it off.

Nope, because I’ll never put a blanket on a supercharger. Sold mine, I just use the spacers for sealing

Welp not pulling that blower to make those holes, oh well. I'll deal with that when I deal with that but that blower has been on the car for about a year and some change and hasn't had an issue, with that blanket and yes I have removed a blanket before. Wasnt hard at all. She sounds real healthy!

Best part, no smoke at all. That made me feel great. Following MMX procedure to a T. @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC has already reviewed the idle log. We are g2g for street driving and finding an abandoned road for WOT. No one in the DMV would let me use their dyno unless they were tuning it. They can pound sand.

Went and did street pulls. @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC and MMX have logs. Will make sure we are g2g for next round and then cut open filter per MMX requirements. The car is very very very happy. No smoke. We are letting the engine cool down completely to let the rings do their magic.

Lightning struck twice in the same spot. Massive amounts of white smoke from behind car. Hemi friend stood behind car and said literally. “No fucking way thats oil.” It is either moisture or e85 being pissed into the cylinders.

@Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC is off for the day and rightfully so, he works hard. So we cant dial back fuel on start to see if thats it. Calling a few places on Monday to see if I can get catch cans that vent to atmosphere.

The reason I am ruling out rings haven't seated is that I beat the piss out of this fucking thing. I mean getting it up in rpms and then engine braking hard. Have a dyno appointment this week, car will sit till then.


does anyone know if on 2015 cars if the pcv on the intake can be disabled? Id like to cap it off
