So some new LIVE ACTION PACTION GET IN HURRRRRR! New setup this year, now that I'm no longer beholden to anyone (yes this means you Uncle Sam), I'm going to every track event I can get my hands on! The list of mods is as follows:

• Hellraiser 2.7 Pulley

• Kenne Bell BAP (about to yeet this bitch for a bigger set of pumps)
• FI IC Spacers + Heater Blanket
• Pinned Crank
• S&M Drive Shaft Hoop
• DSS 4" Drive Shaft
• P4D OG differential Brace.
• HHP Racing Springs
• JLT Intake
• JLT Catch Cans x2
• RaceStar front skinnies wrapped in Sportsman S/R
• ForgeStar D5 Beadlocks wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street R.

Today was the first day with the new pulley and I am working with OST Dyno on getting the tune dialed in. Mike has been 100% awesome to work with and even identified some trans troubles I may have to address soon. Currently on Rev3 of the tune and it is a baby tune. As insurance at the track I added 2 gallons of Sunoco 104 oxygenated (aka 260 gt plus). The car was a beast with what little timing was in the tune (still running 93 and I don't want to go boom.) which is around 9* maximum. Here are the times from today's run:

Right now as the car sits. I have a 10.50 index bracket car for sure. But there is plenty left in it and this is only the beginning. Unfortunately my go pro died after the first video. I have to buy a new go pro, think I cooked it in the heat last year and it never recovered lol. Also the most important part. That zero is no mistake.

So lets talk about trans issues... I don't know if the trans it hurt but in Street Mode at WOT, the transmission does not want to shift. I drop the trans into Sport (most agressive, fight me) and it shifts like a charm, I wonder if the line pressure is not enough or if there is something more nefarious going on, only time will tell, worst case scenario, I'll be getting one of those fancy WAR... transmissions.

It feels good to be back and I can't wait to go faster. Shout out to @ostmike for helping me not blow my car up!

I'm so fast I race in the future! Actually many a time I've asked Cecil County Dragway to fix it. I think they give zero F's...

The good: set a new personal best. The bad: boost a pump is probably on its way out. The ugly: hit limp mode in fifth in the traps... Anyway still on 93 octane and locked into 10 deg of timing till I get a full race gas tune. OstDyno worked their magic with the TCM. Car was loving it.

Not too shabby eh?


white line dipping down is PSI. Went from 91 to 51... the below that all sorts of fucking knock as a result.
But it still hauled ass! Have a ton of good passes on video I’ll edit tomorrow. Logs are off to the tuner and I look forward to resolving those issues. Might need a better fuel setup? Might need to refresh the trans, who knows...

Here's all the data from the races that day. Left a day in from the 17th so people can see how much faster the car is moving. This is due to a TCM tune being tested. If anyone modifies a hellcat and doesnt get a TCM tune done they are doing themselves a disservice.

The caddy was in the process of getting tuned, I knew they were serious when they started putting ice in the trunk (I'm like wtf, I'm going to lose bad...) at a grudge racing event. From overhearing I think E85 tune and they were testing a tire/wheel combo. I think the wheel was slipping on the rim for them. For sure once dialed in that car will be nutters. For sure once I'm dialed in, I'll be nuttier. 🔥

I was there mostly for myself and testing, but if someone wanted to run with me as it was a grudge event, didn’t want people to have my time. It would ruin the fun some people were having... 🤣

Nice testing and coming up on what my car ran on 93 with the 2.72 pulley and OST tune. Any reason no race gas being used? My strong recommendation is to put some race fuel in the tank and run your 93 tune if you're trying to see how fast the car is on the pump gas setting. It's just a good practice when beating on it.

I ommited that I use two gallons of 104 (Sunoco 260 GT plus) with 93 as a preventative for knock. This is the strategy we agreed upon to prevent knock. Sorry for any confusion.

DA was good. When I ran that time, the humidity was around 58% and the grains size were 56. The cooler air and DA for sure helped. Will have a quick video up this weekend. It was a lot of Hellcat on Hellcat crime last night. 🤣
