I've always been amazed at how many folks won't pay attention to the type of asphalt they're on when playing around on the street. At 2600 feet, stock, in cool weather, a 3.6 0-60 is a good time out here (on our truck reliever route, which is a "spot" I use) primarily because of the type of asphalt used. (with lower altitude and different surface, like in Houston, the car is a different animal). Texas has essentially 8 types of asphalt in general, approved use. Pick yours and get to experimenting...
