On wot testing for tuner in 95 degree heat at 4000!feet up my oats got to 210. On e85. I have a trunk box. I will check to see if the fluid is moving. If not js there a specific fuse to check? I know I'm over pullied on the 2.4.

Make sure all of your ground wires by air intake box are connected to the body (wheel well). Those are the main grounds for that entire circuit (ask me how I know). Your tuner should be able to log pump RPM, or at least I thought you could. 210 IAT or MAT in log? Big difference. You have an ice tank in the trunk? Does it have its own internal pump? If so, what kind? Is one hanging off the tank? When the car is running with the lid off the tank, can you see fluid churning? You can get air in the system pretty easily with a trunk ice tank if you don’t keep the fluid level correct. Did you vacuum fill the system? Sorry for all the questions but need a lot more information

Fluid churning check is pretty easy, faster than me looking up the fuse lol. But the fuse/relay is marked on the lid, either up front or back - I forget. Not likely it’s bad

210 iat on dash performance pages. I will check to see if the fluid is moving. External next to tank.

Ok those are pretty stout pumps, looks like a turbo? Probably a Davies Craig pump. Those don’t go bad often as well, but possible your external relay is bad - depends on how you have it wired up. People wire those up wrong allllll the time

Do you still have the factory pump inline, or did you replace the factory pump with the one off the tank?

Yep fluid not moving. No the stock pump was disconnected.

Yeah you need to follow the wiring harness for the Davies Craig pump it’s probably an in line fuse to your battery and a relay unless it was hard wired to the factory pump harness which isn’t the way it should be done in my opinion. How long have you had the ice box and has it been working before?

I honestly have not checked in the last 6-10 months. I had a new mechanic a year and a half ago put in that new pump and he wanted it sitting below the water lines. You obviously have mechanical experience. I do not. Time to bring her in again. lol. Never ends.

The relay or inline fuse could be bad (if there is one). That’s if it’s not hard wired to the stock pump, which it shouldn’t be for a Davies Craig pump. Also no reason not to run your stock pump in line with a Davies Craig pump. That’s a nice mounting bracket for it, never seen one like that. You’re positive your stock pump isn’t still there? Old mechanic could have unplugged it hoping you would come back, who knows

Can you grab that electrical connection off the pump? Is it plugged in? If it has an inline dude and relay it would be behind the carpet on the bottom/back right of the trunk where the fuse box is

Stock pump was never taken out. But it is toast. That is another issue. lol. It grinds to a halt. Out with wife.will do hat you say when I get home. 2 hours.!thanks. Naaa no one messed with it.

lol. Made it worse. Some kind of ground wire to a fuse. Tried pulling the fuse and the connector came off and went below the battery. I need to fly you down here. lol. I am sure it is electrical. The mechanic will figure it out.

tell me about it. it came apart as i was pulling it out. And I was not rough. I put it in a bag for the mechanic.

Whoever wired that needs to be roasted. This is what should be in there, not jumping a wire directly off one side of the fuse Jesus. Can get one at auto zone and fix that for sure.
