Transmission now in. Shop is/has been short handed so they're trying to chip away at this as much as they can. Fabricating the water tank for the FI Interchiller system today and will then get that installed. I imagine after that it's probably just some exhaust work and we're done. Hoped to pick up this week but feel like that may be a long shot.
What is your planned ET when you get back to the Drag strip?

Temps that low always worried me. Iron vs aluminum heat expansion rates and what not.
Wondering that too 🤔

Finally got the hater maker special stuffed into the engine bay. We’re close, folks. Thanks to anyone who has stuck around. This has been a serious test of my mental health. :ROFLMAO:

How the chiller work out?
Chiller install went fine as far as I know. These guys are a dealer so nothing they can't handle. The reservoir for the 2.5-3 gallons of fluid is being custom built and tucked into the fender for a clean install. Should run very very cool for me.

Thanks Linda. Been a very long time since I've had the cat. Plan is to run this daily on 93 pump gas as well and turn it up for the track on the other tune for MS109.

You have to fill it if you don’t want air pockets. It’s a pressurized system

1.5-1.75 is the sweet spot. Will be cool the entire pull and cool down by the time you’re back in the staging lanes

I don't know. They're an FI dealer and have done this install many times. I'll ask if it's too much capacity and see what they say.

Thank you @Hatermkr if you’re still here and also thanks to @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC for taking care of me during what really was an awful situation. So glad to hear her breathe again! Pickup Friday or early next week. More videos to come.

Timing is good indeed! Track opens in a couple weeks. Need to get this thing dialed on the street and then Jon and I will work through the race gas tune and then I should be good to go for a track rental maybe in May is my hope.

Yes, apologies to those who have been following this closely. I should be receiving the car back this week, directly from Jim (Hater Maker) who has been great through what quickly became what I could only describe as a waking nightmare of a situation. I hope to be able to talk more about what happened with the previous motor in the future when the dust has settled.

The car is going to end up with a 426 built by Jim and tuned by Jon, of course. I am very excited and this ended up becoming a real hell of a build the second time around.

Jim finished building the new 426 motor and got it into my car this week and is now putting the car on his dyno tomorrow for tuning with Jon and of course, power numbers! Once that’s done, it’s ready to rock and I’ll be having it shipped to my house. Had hoped to go out there and meet him but the timing did not work out with my own schedule.
