Yeah, but that range and recharging curve really drops off as it gets colder, if you can recharge at all...
Imagine thinking that you've got 100mile range and you start out on a cold day, but it gets a little colder than you thought...
Now you're 10-20miles short of getting home AND can't even call the guy with the diesel pickup withe the tow-behind diesel generator because your car refuses to charge.
Now instead you have to call the diesel powered flatbed towtruck to get your car home...
Oh! And you live in the city and don't even have a garage, maybe just a car port...
And the temperature isn't forecast to get above freezing for the next week, or more...
