Oh man...that's tough...just when you had things dialed in ...(I've had friends in the same predicament )..one of my friends got dinged so bad in the divorce..had to move back home with his mother @ 52...

The laws can be pretty unfair
My neighbor is 62
He is still paying alimony to his X that cheated on him 10 years ago
3K a month
She lives with her boyfriend & keeps a separate address ( her moms ) in order to keep collecting payments
She also took half his pension

Took me 20 years to bounce back totally
All good today
