He has done a few minor modes also has he not ?
Weight savings i believe. If da was 2000 though and Texas is -1000 should be 3 to 4 tenths

I went 5.85 and ran 9.12. His 5.93 came out to 9.25. Any idea da?
The calculator is for NA cars as they don't backhalf as hard as boosted cars do.
Remember what you trapped on that 9.12? Its getting close but then again its not.

The posted 8.91 ET had a 660 of 5.6X.

The calculator is for NA cars as they don't backhalf as hard as boosted cars do.
Remember what you trapped on that 9.12? Its getting close but then again its not.

The posted 8.91 ET had a 660 of 5.6X.
1/8 mile times 1.55-1.56 normally hits my 1/4 times. My mph was 149

I just saw where Ron ran a 5.7 1/8 mile with a 1.21 sixty. That is right there 9.0 kissing 8’s. Bakersfield 1/4 mile is next Saturday with forecasts for highs in the 60’s. DA could be below 1000. We are doing a track rental on the day before with complete control on prep. “However we want it”. I just got off the dyno and….. 👍🏼

Guys on FB saying he went quicker than the 5.6x of the 8.91 pass

just social media talk with everyone keeping a big secret.

Also, someone posted that Freiburger posted that the 170 went 9.20@145 at the Vegas reveal.
Grain of salt with that one.

I believe the math works. My foxbody went 9.11 5.88 1/8th weighting 3300 lbs.

It's not just the math, it's any nannies that might kick in on the back half that slow the car down.

The 1/8 mile numbers really do work. That said there are variables. I’m looking at at more than the et. I saw the time slip and the sixty stood out. The mph was just short of 119 so the et was a result of that sixty. 1.21 is yahoo!! For that to turn into a eight, he would have to pick it up on the top some. If he picks up 30 mph , that puts him at 149. Like I said…. Kissing the eight but……. 🤔

Yes “close” would be the word. I’m actually astounded at that sixty, but I saw the video and it was wheels up! Thing is…. The pick-up on the back half is all horsepower. My car picks up 35+ mph but I have the power to run mid 130’s at the 1/8. He’s under 120 on that pass so can he add another 30? I have no doubt that Ron is going to do it.

You do realize Vegas DA sucks.....usually
+3,000 to +4,000 DA or higher. A 9.20 in those conditions is pretty frigging good.

Hmmmm, I kinda like that for how he'll use the car. Not sure I'd do it to one I was gonna drive around though.

Getting closer.

I think the factory time was 5.67@121.7 on the record.
They really are making people work for that ET!
