On a somewhat related subject, yesterday I turned down a free Redeye. My girlfriend said "Do you remember the deal when I got mine?" Basically, the idea then was that I was sure she'd get tired of it within six months and I could buy it from her.

Well, she didn't tire of it, and meanwhile I realized that I'd rather have my pedestrian 'Cat than her dual-nostril one anyway. So when she said "You can have it". I said thanks but no thanks.

I'm glad that she has decided to trade in her 911 (my first choice, too) and not her 'Cat, but did I screw up?

I have had extremely good luck with GM vehicles.
Then again, I never did buy any GM shit, just good ones.

It doesn't matter which manufacturer you buy from. Most new cars today are usually shit because of all the technology and poor engineering in them, whether it's a GM , Ford, BMW, and yes even FCA. They all have their problems so most people just put up with them.

Just look how many of the parts are sourced from China. You can bet your last dollar those parts are substandard. Most every thing produced today is build to the limits and have limited protection from overloads.

You can ask 100 people what manufacturer they approve of and you'll get 100 different answers because they had a problem with this one or that one. turns out they are still experiencing problems with they new choice
