True, but Henry never wanted to stop building his beloved Model T. Sales started to rapidly decline in 1924, and continued to decline until it went out of production in 1927. The consumers started looking to Chevrolet and other makes by the late 20s, as the Model T had become quite an outdated and stale design by then. His son Edsel was quietly working on the prototype for what would become the 1928 Ford. When Henry first saw it he literally took a sledge hammer and did his best to try and destroy it. It took much pressure from Edsel and others to convince Henry that the day of the Model T had come and gone. At least the '28 Fords were an improvement, unlike the crap Dodge is doing.

Even Henry...with all his infinite wisdom...in time...refused to acknowledge what the consumer wanted...

I think the CEO that passed away suddenly prior to woke moron that just got flushed let TK and US managers do their jobs without interfering too much, or we wouldn't have got what we did for the last 10-15 years, no?
