Anyone have some detailed photos of the exhaust tip set up on the Challenger Red Eye?

With the hardware in my leg I can't really get down under the car and I'm thinking of getting rid of the rectangular tips but it seems the way they're put together you would have only a really small space for a new tip behind the resonators. I don't like the rectangles and the readily visible pipe visible inside. Looks like to replace you might have to delete the resonators?

OEM Trackhawk tips are the best, kind of pricey though.

I like the way those Racoon tips are done except for the larger "end" pipe. I'd have preferred that it be full size all the way back. But that's just a quibble. I'll probably end up getting them. In fact, ordering right now. EDIT - the trackhawk tips are ~ $500 now, BUT they have the Mopar warranty. The Racoon tips are now $333 (with shipping) and only have a 3 month manufacturing defect warranty. I'm conflicted.

I agree on the price. And they're staggered, if I remember correctly (one pokes out further than the other).

I suspect on the chance there might be a manufactures defect of sorts...it should manifest itself in 90 days one would think...just my .02....not sure I like the staggered look of the TH

They told me the same wait time. The carbon fiber ones were a delay but I think that's cleared up now.
My Raccoons only took a few weeks if I remember correctly..

Mopar is 24 months warranty... With the Racoon I'm just wondering if there is a problem with rust, perhaps? So a positive for the TH, but they're also the cost of a set of wheels.

Ok, just ordered the TH tips. The 24 month warranty and 30 day returns did it for me. I'll check it out and see what I think about it. If I don't dig it, back it'll go.

Oh, and anyone who wants to see some vid of the rear of the exhaust under the car, I got down and got a little anyway. Can send it your way if needed.

Raccoon says this"Our tips are manufactured with 304ss and powder coated for longevity." I don't see them rusting but I'm sure the TH tips will be good for you.

If it's treated properly and worked correctly, true. But fluids and cleaners, high humidity or high salinity environments (such as sea water, or a littoral environment) can remove the protective chromium oxide layer and allow stainless steel to corrode. I'm not saying that these guys are bad welders, or anything like that. I'm just saying for $160, I'll take the 24 month warranty and the fact that Mopar may have had at least some QC above that. If you're in business and going in at a 3 month warranty, that gets my attention. I'd need to know more (but then I'm I'm a crotchety old man).

Get off my lawn, MFer's!

Hmm. And here I bought Challenger tips (very affordable take-offs) for my Trackhawk.
