I wouldn't want to compete with events like Drag Week, that's a different ball game. I'm talking about cars that you'd come across in "most" circumstances. SCT was pretty close, but rules were loosely enforced like interior, registration, DOT tire, etc. I'd prefer they have been more strict for the classes. I got paired up with a race car fox body Mustang that wasn't at all a street car and was trailered in. I drove mine to the track and unpacked my junk and swapped over my tire setup that was all DOT. He ran a 10.21 to my 10.42 and considering I didn't feel too bad.

Worse part is that Mustang probably had an LS motor in it or 1st gen small block Chevy or KAWASAKI for Christ sake. They put anything in those things now and it's O.K. It's strictly a platform. (so's a go- kart frame. LOL.) It's 'all good' as they say . Back in the day they'd get shot, SHOT for that by the Ford guys. Ah well things change. And quickly these days.

mine will whip all you smack talkers(FULL OF HOT EXHAUST) ,suck your car up one side of the exhaust and spit you out the other turn the rear camera on just so I can see the distance growing ,,ive seen speedys logs he is just a couple hundreds miles away from me smoking the gomango, !!!!

I'm with Hellion. Whatch what tou wish for. There are at least 2 full interior wheel only stock looking newer Mustangs that run 8's at my track. I would guess at least another 5 that run 9.3 to 9.0 as well as 3 or more Vettes that can run with them. Those just the regulars that I see just about every week.

Any call outs happening this fall? Line ups that are going to happen? If you have a pulse and like racing, lets talk about the trophy fish that jumped over the boat, broke the fishing pole and got away. All for fun, lets not get too nasty (unless it is warranted).

I will start, there is a line up happening this Wednesday between a hellcat challenger and charger, both good racers, to see what is what.
