I'll have to wait till I see it in person before I make final judgement, but I wish they had just brought over Bruiser Gray from the Durango/GC instead of this new, lighter version to replace DG.
Reminds of way back in '87 when the Mustangs came out with that gaudy florescent strip all around the car. Once a few were successful in removing it, others tried too and failed at the doors (it was more of a plastic insert there than a sticker stripe around the bumpers).
Funny to see the clueless driving around debadged this way except for the doors. Having helped a friend completely remove it all, I remember pointing it out to guys I came across like this at gas stations to take an exacto-knife, cut the edge and then easy peel it off from there. (No internet forums to get answers from back then LOL).
I remember those cars well. Lots of stories. I never saw anyone try and take the stripes off though. If I remember correctly you could eventually order it without, and there were some color combos that did not have it.
Unfortunately, it appears that this particular dealer has took it upon themselves to deny us (and for the ultimate new owner, the choice of) the visual splendor of the (new) "PINK THINGY".
those of us that have enjoyed these cars for the better part of the last decade or more, know all too well about the "original" and infamous "Pink Thingy".
