This stupid county gave them a rash of shit about expanding, so they moved the whole damn business out of state (NC or SC as I recall).
Stupid policitians - then they sat around pissing & moaning about the loss of a major business & the jobs that went with it.

The good old pancake boat lol and growing up spent many summers in TN with my uncle and cousins on Percy Priest Lake. My cousin was a huge Motörhead and had a sweet 1971 Corvette Stingray and he used it to tow his boat lol. Remember the rear wheels always busting loose and especially at the boat ramp lol. He had a similar boat as in the video with a small block Chevy in her. Holly crap that thing did close to 100mph. I was just 12 years old then and he would take me for a ride and talk about your eyeballs about popping out lol. Those boats are scary fast since if they get just s little too much air under them it’s over.

Part of the problem with short run stuff is the lack of aftermarket support...
Few people will want to modify a limited run vehicle
Fewer still if it's a Durango that already has over 700hp
And so we're stuck with the same support as the TH - which isn't horrible - but how long will it be around?
I, for one, would be happy with a 1000rwhp Durango that can tow 8400lbs... I just don't have the $100k to make it happen right now
