Lol MPG is absolutely garbage on these cars, hahaha! They charge us a gas guzzler tax man.
My advice, map out your cheap gas stations if you DD your car. I don't DD mine, drive it once or twice a week if the weather is nice. I think I get around 10 MPG.
In theory my girlfriend's Redeye should get lower mileage than my basic 'Cat, right? Not so. She consistently gets at least 10% better mpg than I do.
Both are basically driven on the same roads, but there are so many other variables.

For some reason..I drive the HC more aggressively...probably the fun factor of the M6...its easier for me to be an idiot..(not that there's anything wrong with that)
Not that she drives slowly by any means. When she comes home today I'll ask, and generally the answer is somewhere between 100 and 130.
But those aren't sustained speeds, like I tend to do, and she doesn't pass nearly as aggressively as I do.

There is, and nice twisties, too.
To put it in perspective, it's almost 70 miles to the nearest stop light...and one stop sign right by the house along the way there.
Wouldn't want it any other way.
Awwww jimmy jimmy...once ya learn how to work em..you'll realize how much fun they are...and FAST..you realize the fastest stock HC in the world is an M6

Not quite. I can only go about 2,000 miles without stopping for fuel. And stopping, and getting going again, pretty much involves using the clutch.
Of course, if I slowed down a bit, I might make it all the way without getting more fuel.
Although, there's most likely some pesky stop sign or light along the way so I'd be forced to stop no matter what.
