The whole court system in NYS is shut down...local DMV offices..all closed..delinquent state inspections given 30 day grace period as well as expired registrations..you cannot first time register a motor vehicle...cannot even order custom plates on line...LE in WNY...unofficially not enforcing V&T violations...traffic is sparse ...but surprisingly the ones out there..are acting pretty responsible..(with the exception of me this afternoon..Demon was on the prowl from red light to red light...was out for over an hour)...didn't see one cop...

wasnt me. thats a link to an artilcle in PA where some girl went for a drive, and the state police pulled her over, said her tail light was out gave her a $25 ticket with $200 in court costs for being out without a good reason. She got home her dad reported the tailights work fine. Either something more to the story or this is a bullshit ticket.

We verified in MN, pleasure rides are allowed for our "shelter in place".

Here they just seem to be sitting and listening for the worst, that is why I took my car way outside of town the other day for some fun, but only have done a couple of very brief demo's in town, in places I am real familiar with. Should be something next week, if we need to start wearing shit over our mouth, I am pulling out the motorcycle bandannas and a damn black cowboy hat and getting in the RE.

Ah gotcha. I drove by two county sheriffs the other day driving in the hellcat. Don't think they even noticed me.

But, I have heard of people getting stopped, especially in the early mornings around downtown locations in my city. At night, I still hear guys blasting around and doing burnouts. One of my friends girlfriend got a ticket being out pass 12 am. I don't think it was COVID-19 related but the cop did ask them if they were aware of a shelter in place. Also, being out late gives them probable cause to pull you over.

Still, I feel like not a damn thing has changed, except for travel restrictions, working from home more often, and (somewhat) less cars on the road.
