For the love of god people these are SHIPPING PROTECTORS . Like Styrofoam peanuts, or newspaper. They are not trim pieces !

Doesn't matter what color, they were not intended to be a car accessory/trim.
As I have previously stated, keeping them on is like keeping the Styrofoam protectors on your flat screen TV after mounting on a wall.

The paint under the splitter guard will be damaged by leaving the guard on. There was a video of it a couple years ago showing how Road Grit gets in between the splitter guard and painted surface

Yes, there are a large quantity of owners that may prefer pink, but the larger majority probably do not.
That has been the norm for centuries.
