I was actually looking at the Explorer ST and and I liked the speed and the gas mileage but you can't beat the growl of that 6.4L V8.

So far my only mod has been all weather mats too, haha.

I didn't get an extended warranty but I don't want to void what I have either.

What other mods are you thinking about?

I rolled window down the other day and all the dew dripped all my arm and in my lap, so I'm thinking about some rain deflectors.

Are your stripes silver? I like your 392 badges better than my decals
Your car is new, mine was 2 years old so I can see your not getting the extended warranty.

Right now, I'm not really looking at any mods. Pretty happy with what I got.

Yes, my stripes are silver. I never realized they used decals on your AlcHEMI. Do all the newer SRT's have them now?

I think this trim is unique with the decals, it has blacked out badging on the lift gate. The decals seem a little cheap to me, but honestly with all the other yellow accents it looks nice.

In terms of spending money on a car that is already so expensive, I'm not looking at anything right now either.

I've actually been putting money into my 03 Toyota 4Runner, that between my dad and I, we've owned since it was new. Just had the shocks and struts replaced, replaced the exterior weather-stripping around the windows, changed the interior lights to LEDs. Looking to replace some of the cracked exterior trim and some of the badging that has fallen off over the years .

I want to replace the headlight housings next because they have cataracts, haha.

The paint is completing faded, and when my two oldest brothers were in high school, my dad spray painted their 1981 Toyota Cressida matte black. So we have been joking around with painting it matte black.

I wonder what Dodge was thinking using decals, was a new colored badge that costly?
And a 21 yr old 4Runner sounds like a good project car.
With the paint, next time just use a paint brush!

I have actually found quite a few 392 badges in yellow for $20-40 bucks on Etsy. Not wanting to try to get the decals off quite yet, but when I do, I'll find some actual badges.

That is what I told my dad too, it is good to get in there and try to take things apart before trying to do it on a new car. If fact my dad told me if he had known some of these things were so easy, he would have done them 10 years ago. I've always been afraid to work on cars because I have butter fingers and I don't trust myself I can put it back together, haha.

My mom and fiancé both don't want to go on the freeway in it, but the engine and transmission are still so smooth.

Sorry, talking about an old 4Runner on a Dodge Forum

I wasn't thinking the decals were necessarily bad, was just wondering why. If that's what your car came with, I'd say keep it!

Hey everybody,

I just got my "last call", 2024 Durango SRT AlcHEMI last week, and so far I haven't found anything I don't love about it. Other than my 11 year old lab has a hard time getting in the back.

The last Hemi I owned was a 2009 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L. I thought that sounded good, until they turned the SRT on, while on the showroom floor and it blew my mind, haha. I couldn't say no at that point.

I'm sure I'll embarrass myself with how little I know, but I've always found forums to be the best place to find information.

Right now, I'm reading through the owner's manual, which is only available online, but I think the first couple of modifications will be practical ones.
Congratulations and welcome.
