Will update as more details are released. Happened about 3 hrs before the end of my shift today. I know more but can not say anything about what or who until it’s officially released.
Please pray for those who saw it happen, those who helped and most of all his family! I know 100% they did not think when he left for work it would be the last time they would see or talked to him!!

Yes, a lot of really distraught people from Gladiator line today. Not sure yet but I’ve heard they were going to shut the gladiator line down for the rest of the week.

Depending on what happened they may need to shut it down for longer and think about it.

A 40 year old machine repair man died at a local tool shop last week here in Windsor
He was repairing a CNC machine
3 children waiting for him at home

A friend owns the shop & and my cousin is a plant manager
They don t even want to talk about it
He had just started there weeks before

Some staff have quit
The machine was pulled out & is being trashed for every ones piece of mind

These stories hit home for many
Tough for co workers

Stay safe !!!!!!!!!!!

I understand the thought behind scrapping the machine. I worked at a company, could be 25 years ago now, a man thought his wife was cheating on him with an old man at work (both worked in shipping dept) he came in and waited in the parking lot for them to arrive. When they did, he stepped out of his truck with a shotgun and shot at him as he ran into the building through the lunchroom. Hit him in the side and he dropped in the doorway, he then stepped over him and into the lunchroom. Our shipping dept office had a big window facing the lunchroom and this guy stood in front of that window while his wife was in the little room on the phone with 911 and blew his head off with the shotgun. He shot out all the windows in the front of the building trying to hit him as he ran into the building.

When I arrived a few minutes later, I parked in back by my office in the machine shop, I went into the building and no one around anywhere so I started walking out to the plant and still no one so I went back up front to the supervisor's office (next to the lunchroom) and walked in on the mess and the guy dead and gun on the floor. I high tailed it back to my office and ran into the plant manager (owner's son) and he explained what had just happened minutes before I got there and that they had cleared all the employees out as he was coming in.
Quite the tragedy and mess, they had a company come in and remediate the lunchroom and remove all contaminated materials including floor, tables, chairs, wall and ceiling, pretty much every surface to the studs. When that was complete, they moved the lunchroom and boarded the entire area off and sealed it closed for about a year and a half. Our turnover was so bad that after that time there was only management and trades left that knew what had happened, so they put it back and everyone was fine not knowing.

By the way the gentlemen that was shot, WAS NOT screwing his wife and HE LIVED!! He was just old and financially strapped and didn't have a vehicle, so she picked him up for work every morning since it was on her way. I guess the husband was super jealous and didn't believe her.
So, the only one that died was the jealous husband.
