I received 2 letters from Chrysler today,, wanting me submit to my cars for vehicle/dyno emissions testing. My cars would have about 100 dyno miles on them. The testing takes approx 5-8 weeks per vehicle.
A fully insured loaner with unlimited mileage is included. Financial compensation seems to be more than fair, for 100 miles on my vehicle.
1. How would you know if they tweaked your tune?
2. This is all supposed to be for emissions. Anything else to think about?
3. Would you trust this proposed deal?

No. Not one bit. 5-8 weeks for 100 dyno miles?
I’ve received a couple of these letters. I wrote HA-HA-HA across the last one in marker and sent it back.

If you're OK with giving Chrysler your car for 5 to 8 weeks to do God knows what with, then go for it. Seriously, this question is even being asked?

Why would you even consider something as ridiculous as this...not a chance in france I would consider it...

I wouldnt have an issue with giving them the 300 if you can pick your loaner vehicle like a TRX or Hellcat Durango. That would be my answer back

You wouldnt let them have your old ram in exchange to drive around a TRX for awhile? I would let them use our R/T for that exchange. My TAXI doesn't have cats to start with to not work

I've gotten a few of these letters and it's a HELL NO from me. The only person that's even allowed to start my car let alone drive it is the wife!

I gotta believe they have done thousands of hours doing emissions testing on everything they make..I agree..somethings not right here
