In previous iterations it looked like you had your ice tank in the engine bay by the firewall, passenger side.
That was way back. Ditched that idea without ever using it. Sometimes stuff don’t work. I have my catch can there now. It works. The ice box is in the trunk. It works. IMG_3994.jpeg IMG_3823.jpeg

Big news on the build front. Due to Adam at Spankintime being discombobulated because of his shoulder surgery, I was faced with more never ending delays getting the work with the turbo install done. That’s going to require a lot of overhead work fabricating the necessary plumbing. My friend James Golden, owner of Redeye Racecars in Florida, offered to help if I was willing to suffer the drive to get there. That was accomplished last week. Had some conversations with James and Marc Poldino there about what we want to accomplish. With the power we’ll be making, the suspension became a part of the discussion. The 4-link in the car now was designed with NHRA restrictions due to their definition of Factory Stock. It’s basically a squat type of setup that transfers weight be leveraging the front up for weight transfer. That’s why at the 1500hp level it’s so wheelie prone. This is not what you want in a 2000+ hp car. It’s just asking for the car to take flight at speed. James and Marc had a private discussion on what to do. James offered me a deal I could not refuse. He would sponsor me with the chassis and suspension modifications to put SpankinTime’s engine building and tuning to full use if we were good with that. Hell F’n yes I’m good with that ! So…. The car is being back halved with a anti squat ladder bar setup that Marc says will 1.0 sixty at the expected power level. You still have the ABS hooked up? Does the Holley control that?
No ABS being used on mine.

One of the questions getting started was…. Will those incredible custom forward facing 4 into 1 headers fit. James old setup had some engine setback and he questioned whether those would work with my Billet motor mounts in the stock location. Answer….. Sorry friend. I drove 4 days to get there and flew back home after one day at the shop. Didn’t go anywhere. I will be coming back when it’s finished and would like to spend more time relaxing before the long drive home. I don’t know when that is going to happen but I’ll contact you when I do. If you would like to check out the car and take a tour of the shop that would be fun. We’ll have to get some Mexican food. Bring you dad. 😎

I have finalized my MAP sensor and boost reference setup thanks to you. One thing I couldn't piece together is the IAC valve on the firewall on both your car and the blue car and in the turbo setup most recently closer to the front of the car.

The IAC valve is standard Chrysler 4 pin but I cannot find that remote housing. I've searched high and low for it. Holley makes their own, Haltech makes their own but I haven't seen that one before. Did Adam make that custom for your cars?

We actually got that from Whipple but that was some time ago. They don’t market it anymore and I couldn’t find it anywhere else. It stopped working on mine and he said we are not going to replace with another one. Just go without (race car 🙃). I’ll be at the shop today and have a talk about the whole IAC thing and find out what the deal is with that one. Btw…. The picture with it on the engine is misleading. I was in the process of removing it after placing the turbo intake and discovered I couldn’t get at the harness connection under the intake. It was just laying there 😂 It never was actually in that spot.
