Even had a dealer start throwing it on their base GT packages and selling 700hp Mustangs for under 50k.

I think it had 255 rear tires but you know. 700hp!!

Dodge made a killing on the Hellcat at 60k
Redeyes, Demons, Super Stocks; all gravy for FCA/Stellantis. The price gouging from the factory made it even worse.

I hope Ford kills it with this new Mustang to get Chevy and Dodge back into the game.

Car was built with 500hp in mind.
Making 800whp is going to stress components.

Several Mustangs and ZL1s have been in the 9s with this 10 speed trans. And like the ZF in the Hellcats, they can be built to handle more power.

And if you really want to get stupid, you can always go the GM 2 or 3 speed route.

Most seem to be building up the tranny along with the transfer case on 4x4s.

I see a lot of these 10 speeds come in with the sleeve issue in the CDF DRUM mostly happening around 70 k

I agree needs a few upgrades but plenty have actually lived at that power level. My 6r80 holds a shit ton of power but its got all the billet internals from Brett Lasala.

The weak point has always been the OPG's.

Those 5.0's and 10R's will handle the power otherwise without major issue as long as the tune isn't done by a potato.
