I was a long time subscriber to Car and Driver before it was taken over by the woke millennials in the early 2000’s. Almost all of their long term test cars were faster after 10-20k miles compared to new. I still believe in a gentle break-in with increasing “exercise” as the miles accumulate.

I know Ripa's does not, and he ordered his bare to the bones, as light as possible, less the carbon wheels, and he showed the scale result on his FB the other day - 4157 lb.

Looks like he had about 67 miles on it before the track today. Pretty damn impressive to rip off 9.30's on a brand new powertrain. He said the trans was sloppy but learning and adapting quickly.
