No, not twice. Trice.

But this one was by far the worst. I'm still running on about half a cylinder after nearly two weeks. Hell, yesterday was the first time I took a leak since it started. Guess the fever takes care of dispersing of any liquids.

Had half a meal yesterday, the other half of it today. Not because I was hungry, but figured I should eat something regardless of how unappealing it is.

Anyway, already being behind, losing two weeks hasn't exactly helped. By Wednesday I'll start doing things, no matter what. If it doesn't kill me, it should make me stronger.

It sure did. The first time wasn't bad, but it took a few months to get up to speed again. Second time was a nothing, really.

What really sucked this time was the relentless coughing. After coughing every four seconds or so for days, my throat was toast, and after two days my stomach muscles were hurting, too.

At times the fever was pretty bad, and it probably didn't help that the heater went out of some reason. Uncontrollable shaking the first night, then it got a bit better. Once I got the heater going again and the bedroom to over 50 degrees it was a definite improvement.

One weird thing is that when drinking water, it tastes like the bottle was filled with ocean water. That's what alligators swim in, so no wonder I don't feel good.

Anyway, I'm fairly certain that this latest one was courtesy of my dentist. It started two days after my visit.

Went to get the muffler swap done on the Redeye. This crazy SOB said he charged $550 to swap out the mufflers. I left a pair of black marks in his parking lot 50 feet long that will be there until next Christmas.😡

Not that I remember the number of gallons of water I drank in about three days, but it was quite a few. No need to take a leak then either, as it all disappeared as sweat.

When i had it in London, my fever peaked at 101.5, but I still took leaks and it only lasted for 3 days. I woke up in a pool of sweat, but after that the fever broke, and I was pretty much fine. Seems to affect everyone differently. I think I caught mine on the plane.
