Mine (and several others) have noted the auto dimming high-beams feature has not been installed (the sensor at the RV mirror is missing + supporting software is not active). The feature is listed everywhere & there is even a setting for it in UConnect (that does nothing).

In researching, seems similar stuff is 'missing' on Rams and even the new Hornets !!

Just confirmed all of this over the weekend & sent a DM to Dodge. Making a 'check list' of features to try & confirm what works & what's missing.

That's a surprise, my Challenger has it and my R/T did as well !

It comes with the Technology Group.

I don't know if the Charger Hellcats ever had that available, or at least the TG version for HC's without adaptive cruise control, but if you try to build one now, the TG doesn't exist.

It was STD on my '16 Hellcat & '18 Durango R/T (no tech pkg on either).
And, according to ALL the documentation (UConnect options, build sheet, window sticker, official 'feature availability sheet' that lists all the models) it should be on my '23 DDSRT, but it was not installed/activated.

The deal on the widebody is officially dead. I'm just very concerned about the build quality of the 23s. It seems like the majority of people are having issues that bought 1.

The security aspect is also at the top of my list. I never want my wife to be in the middle of a armed carjacking since I won't back down.

It's been a crazy year for me finding a new car. The American auto makers just don't seem to be either making anything desirable or with quality.

I'm hot on the trail of what I want and that will work for us.

You have to do what is right for you. I don't think I would have killed it until it came in, it may have been perfect but if you don't want to own one it doesn't matter
