Is it working yet? You’re supposed to add a few oz of pag oil as well. They sell replacement TXV valves and high side pressure valves for a reason, could have went bad

After talking to a lot of people on this subject, I’m going with an ice box. Won’t heat soak everything else, and you can get an ice box and a cwa400 pump, all lines/fittings for $400 less than then cheapest chiller (cheapest of the good chillers)

And, it works well with your heat exchanger - no need to bypass it. I have heard that your IATs can go ABOVE what they did without the chiller if you don’t have enough filled coolant at the top end if you bypass the heat exchanger, which you typically do with the chillers

So, you need a $1800-2000 chiller, a $400-650 aux tank, and a $450 pump to handle the additional head pressure a stock pump can’t. Chillers are a money pit.

Yea. I changed out the compressor, drier, and expansion valve. Charged it with 1200g. It worked about half way if that makes sense. Certainly cooling but not like it was. Pressures were 80 low side. 150 high side. I might go ahead and buy a pressure switch as well. Im unsure whether itd work "half way" if it was bad but at this point im lost.

I know it was working before and the only thing in the area i was working is the pressure switch and where i extendes it for the chiller. Ive looked these areas over extensively and checked what HP tuners sees. See above pics. Got a guy looking it over as well. Will post back when i find something. Once i get it up and running ill update my build thread with the whipple and new tank and cwa. Its a sweet setup.

80 on the low side is high, 150 on the high side is on the low side running. Is this with chiller and cabin AC on? What is ambient temp where your testing? What for new compressor did you use?

This is with both chiller and cabin AC on. 90 degrees here.

The high side would be sweet at that pressure, I assume auxiliary fan is running on secondary condenser? Try taking some Freon out until suction pressure is 60 psi max and see what it does.

Any difference in pressures with drag valve on and only chiller in the circuit?
