Yeah way low. I think there were good (bad) reasons why it flopped...

Kinda hard to sell a paper order live. People left to guess what it might look like. It also came off confusing as if you were getting the car on stage (used/dirty silver D170). If it was the actual car up there (say in Panther Pink) I think it goes much higher. That also was a weak azz venue. Boiling hot LV in mid-July isn't exactly Scottsdale in January. A 1993 Viper in nice shape sold for 30K and a Gen 3 Ford GT with the rare 70K lightweight option hammered for 900K. That's 1.2M all day on BaT.

Kind of a stupid auction after you sit and think about what they tried to do. Dodge should not have agreed to that venue/setup. Why not wait until ACTUAL D170s are built then sell car 0001 (in special paint, etc). That's how literally every other high-dollar charity auction is run (with great results). This should have been run 6 months from now in Arizona with an actual car decked out with eye-popping special paint and CF wheels.

The "winner" too kinda got screwed (although long run maybe he has a steal deal). Even so, he/she goes home with zero car today. Personally, after watching this I think it was a dumb idea all around.

Add in the super confusing double auction (goes to 400K, high bidder passes on the car then resets/restarts and thenanother 300K is raised). What ??

This was a complete sh!tshow imo...

I agree. First thing I noticed was how dirty and not detailed it was; especially the tires!!

It's people who have so much money it loses any sense of reality or worth. If you have 100 million even, and everyone kisses your ass all day long because of it, what's 400K to you? I'm not against rich folks, I am against rich folks who see themselves as rich because god deems it that way, or because they're better than others, etc....

They are certainly not any better...but they are alot smarter....the lottery notwithstanding...If you have amassed 100 mil...your way smarter than a whole lot of people walkin around...

I don’t 100% agree, I know some millionaires that just were in the right places at the right times because they are as dumb as a box of rocks, plus no common sense, they are just freakin lucky! One guy is drunk so often that he doesn’t know what day it is but money just seems to fall into his lap?!
On the other hand I know some extremely intelligent individuals that just can’t catch a break to save their lives! They don’t make bad decisions, they try to do the right things, just nothing works out for them and they will probably struggle with money their entire lives.

Well, I'm wondering if interest in these is just fading now that there's nothing exciting on the horizon. Even I'm kinda "over it" to be honest, was talking to Jon about it the other day. I don't really care to be associated with a company that's primary products are an EV and a hybrid soccer mom SUV.

Outside of a niche of folks still Dodge loyal, I think everyone else is moving on. You should see the comments on the Dodge Instagram. 90%+ are negative.

We just moved our Challenger and Ram. Being replaced by a Tundra Hybrid and I have a F150 Coyote that's getting built next month.

Keeping my HC but my wife might be trading her DSRT for a Macan of some sort. She likes our boxster plus the new Durango hellcats/392’s are just too damn high. Kids are starting to drive so we don’t necessarily need that third row like we used to.

Highly encourage a test drive if you haven't had one yet. Macan S with PASM or the GTS (standard PASM) are both incredible handling vehicles.
