you need to pull the actual calibration files and modify the vin, or pull them down on the bench and then change the vin there before bench flashing to a new pcm. I believe this can even be done with the TCM, contrary to popular belief. Witech won’t do it. You need j2534 after the rom has been modified, or on the bench.
Redeye pcms (and I believe) the bcm have the high octane mode, you just need the center stack (or a microcontroller sending that canbus message) and to enable it on the bcm. Or, bench flash BCM with Demon config, but I’m pretty sure it’s in there already.
Once upon a time far far away in Milwaukee WI a company with Bar the and shield logo built anniversary edition motorcycles. If you needed a part that was restricted that was exclusive to the bike making it anniversary part and only they wouldn’t sell it to you with out bringing the faulty part in to dealership.
