Custom 2013 Dodge Challenger Daytona Sells For $42.5K

The car started life as a 2013 Dodge Challenger, but if the current Challenger's body isn't retro enough, this body kit definitely has a look of what '60s NASCAR was all about. Up front, this Challenger gets the Daytona's aero-tuned look with a sloped nose cone and pop-up headlights. As one would expect, the modern-day Daytona also has a massive rear spoiler as well as a contrasting rear body stripe. Inside, this car gets a custom red-and-white leather interior to match the exterior, and even the engine compartment has been color matched with a red and white engine cover.

This isn't just a show car either. Not only is it powered by the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, it also came from the factory with the Super Track Pack that added stickier tires, upgraded suspension, heavy-duty brakes and sportier steering. For added performance, this car has also been upgraded to include a strut brace and cold air intake. And to top things off, this car is still like new with the aforementioned mileage reading of just 1,867 miles!

Someone took a bath on that, as I recall, this was an expensive conversion !
I remember seeing them for sale on-line, wasn't sure if I liked it or not - LOL. Why they spent that kind of $$ on a 5.7L car seemed dumb to me.

Even if you hate the exterior, the interior looks pretty sweet IMO.

Not big on the color combo but I have seen a silver one with black strips and it looked good. If the conversion was cheaper I may have one but not for around 20k for just the parts

Actually heard and or read some where that was gonna be a factory option (like the next year model or something) when they were doing those conversions. I mean, I got a scoop and some graphics on mine but at what point in the project do you say 'this thing has gone off the rails ladies and gentlemen…let's re-focus.'
