Meh, it's just gotten silly but Dodge has done weird stuff for as long as I've been around them so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Catering to Demon owners is petting egos, but I guess they have to since it won't be top dog anymore and they don't want more back lash like they've gotten from the HC Durango debacle.
Some of you guys are a lot more brand loyal than I am, so maybe I just don't get it but leprechauns with yellow IVs, secret lists with dealers, etc for a car of all things just goes against my grain. I could probably get one of these if I really wanted one (I have a connection), and I just don't want one, at least not with what's currently known. I could have bought a Demon I personally spec'd and didn't want that either. I drive my cars and could care less about collector items. I had a phone conversation with someone who would know what this car would be and I was told we'd be impressed "if they can pull it off". Once the delays started I figure it's going to be less than what was originally planned.
Anyone else starting to hear rumors that the V8s aren't really going away and that the next iteration is in current development? I've seen that floating around too and that for sure wouldn't surprise me based on Dodge's history of doing stuff like this.
